Budget Edition 2019
The centrepiece of the 2019-20 Federal Budget was $158 billion in tax relief over a decade. In all, 10 million individuals and 3 million small businesses are set to be beneficiaries of lower taxes. In his maiden budget address and with the weight of a looming election, Treasurer Josh Frydenberg emphasised that challenges faced by Australian families will be met with “a stronger and more competitive economy, with lower taxes and more jobs”.
